How's your attention span? Statistics say that you won’t make it to the end of post.

Twenty years ago, we could focus on a task for about 2.5 minutes. Now? Just 45 seconds.

The average office worker checks their email 30 times per hour. We pick up our phones 1,500 times a week. And every distraction costs us—it takes 25 minutes to refocus after being interrupted.

We're bombarded with notifications, emails, and constant pings. We crave distraction.

The solution?

✅ Turn off notifications. I know it's scary, what if someone needs me!? Just try it. Try it for one hour and see how it feels.

✅ Close outlook when you're doing focused work and schedule blocks of time to check your emails in batches.

✅ Practice mindfulness. Not just meditating, but simple things like focus on doing one thing at a time, mindfully.

How's your attention span? Is it worse when you're using technology? Let me know in the comments.
