Healthy Tech Habits

Australian teens spend over 6 hours a day on their phones. Many are being exposed to violent or age-inappropriate content, and nearly half have experienced online bullying. Kids are growing up in a digital world that’s fast, messy, and often unsafe, and they need help navigating it.

Students are online more than ever. We need to equip them with the tools to use technology safely and responsibly.

This two part program includes a workshop for students as well as an information session for parents about keeping your kids safe online.

These workshops offer simple, practical strategies to reduce screen time, respond to online risks, and set healthy boundaries around gaming, devices, and social media.

This is about real-world solutions — not scare tactics. We make complex issues easy to understand and give families the tools they need to tackle them together.

About the program:

Healthy Tech Habits

Children are spending more time online but they’re often not equipped to handle what they find.

On average, Australian teens spend over six hours a day on their phones. Many encounter content that isn’t appropriate for their age, and nearly 1 in 2 have been treated in a hurtful way online.

With constant notifications, online gaming, and the pressure to stay connected, many students are forming unhealthy and unsafe technology habits.

Technology isn’t going anywhere so we need to teach students safe and healthy technology habits.

The Healthy Tech Habits program supports both students and parents with clear, practical tools to manage screen time, deal with online risks, and build better boundaries around devices, games, and social media.
